Edgar Thomas Nightingale. Age: 95 (Turned in 1901). A gothic romantic and long-time poet, Edgar spent most of his undeath disguised as a humble housecat. With his banshee girlfriend by his side, this eccentric young gentleman wants to see what makes this secret society tick. Debut: Episode 1.

Christine “Crystin” Evans. Age: 22 (Died in 1973). Crystin is Edgar's girlfriend, as fair as she is tight-lipped. Her kind are rarely seen by vampires, but Edgar is determined to help her settle into the E.V.S....Even if everyone else stays a comfy six feet away at all times. Debut: Episode 1.

Clifford Tarquin Belfort. Age: 124 (Turned in 1882). Clifford is an ex-magician and self-described aesthete. His passion for art is only surpassed by a notoriously hot temper. After a messy escape from Venice, he's back in England with ten times the baggage. Debut: Episode 1.

Augustine “August” Belfort. Age: 150 (Turned in 1872). August is a member of the E.V.S. Council. This hedonistic sleaze loves nothing more than trophy hunting and womanising. Despite the pleasures of such an unlife, there lies a Clifford-shaped hole in his heart. Debut: Episode 3.

Rozzlyn Fletcher. Age: 20. Rozzlyn is a scrappy punk straight from the streets of Liverpool. With no other options besides “Freeze to death outside of a Tesco”, she takes whatever dirty jobs the E.V.S. Council has for her. Debut: Post Mortem III.

Princess. Species: West Highland White Terrier. Princess was discovered roaming the streets of Cannes by a certain Clifford. Her favorite foods are rats, tinned meatballs and people's faces. Her existence is technically a crime but a little nepotism goes a long way. Debut: Episode 1.

Actaeon. Species: Barghest. Actaeon is a guard dog, hunting dog and oversized lap-pooch all in one. He happily serves August, and while his fearsome appearance and scythe claws make him a hard sell, his master insists he's just a big baby. Debut: Episode 4.

Walter Graves. Age: 632 (Turned in 1361). Walter is one of the Council's favorite desk jockeys. He spends most of his time holed up in the local catacomb because of it. Some vampires wonder what his deal is, while others insist it's best not to investigate. Debut: Episode 1.

Angus “Brick” and Sheamus “Mortar”. Age: 34 and 33. Angus and Sheamus are a grizzled duo of human familiars. The two started serving the undead to make ends meet, and while they've kept their heads on their shoulders, their sanity has taken a nice summer holiday. Debut: Episode 1.

Black James. Age: 282 (Turned in 1720). Times change, but Black James does not. As a ruthless career criminal, he lives for the thrill and none of the consequences. His antics spread far and wide as a long-lasting thorn in the Council's side. Debut: Episode 2.

George Wells. Age: 224 (Turned in 1822). George is August's sire, and an endless source of advice, ideas and dubious connections. He's surprisingly amicable for an old bat. However, with his friendliness comes shamelessness. Debut: Post-Mortem I.

Todd Fox. Age: 175 (Turned in 1831). While August is partying like it's 1899, this disgruntled henchman is always ready to clean up after him. However, Todd is anything but respectable, responsible or even that good at his job...Just don't let him hear that. Debut: Episode 3.

Horace Greaves. Age: 255 (Turned in 1797). Horace is one of August's closest...“Confidants”, and one of the most feared interrogators at the E.V.S.'s disposal. Once an admiral in the Royal British Navy, he values honour, discipline and you staying out of his way. Debut: Post Mortem II.

Simon “Porter” Brown. Age: 45 (Turned in 1961). Simon or “Porter” by virtually everyone, is the hapless overseer of the Woodsgrave Familiar Lodge. His high-strung attitude, token Londoner status status and history as a policeman makes him more than an easy target for teasing. Debut: Post Mortem III.

“Camilla” Belfort. Age: 89 (Turned in 1910). From the dark forests of Austria came this sinister mistress. She revels in all flavours of sexual depravity and being the centre of attention at all times. The only thing keeping her in check is an ever-watchful Josephine. Debut: Post Mortem III.

Abigail Belfort. Age: 75 (Turned in 1922). Abigail is in her own little world most of the time, but her daddies don't mind. Ditzy and flirtatious, she's passionate for the arts, the natural world and various forms of witchcraft. An oddball, but a real sweetheart. Debut: Post Mortem III.

Josephine Belfort. Age: 107 (Turned in 1895). Josephine is a classical lady with classical interests, and by far the most level-headed of August's harem. While she's outwardly polite and patient even to the most trying of company, with her mercy comes a deadly cunning. Debut: Post Mortem III.

Nancy Parker. Age: 19. Nancy is Rozzlyn's closest friend, and a mentor in all things Familiar. Having been shipped up from the worst parts of Birmingham, she's seen the worst of what societies have to offer and she's happy to let you know about it. Debut: Post-Mortem V.

Claudius Laurie. Age: 156 (Turned in 1853). Claudius is Woodsgrave's Thornist party representative, and a perfect fossil of 19th century pedantics. When this drama  king isn't butting heads with Geraldine, he’s sulking to his familiar Arthur for reassurance. Debut: Episode 10.

Geraldine Moon. Age: 115 (Turned in 1902). Geraldine is Woodsgrave's Rootist party representative, singlular lady politician and self-proclaimed wrangler of Claudius.  She’d get things sorted around here but easily-bruised Thornist egos reply with a resounding “no”. Debut: Episode 10.

Arthur Whittaker. Age: 26. Arthur is Claudius’s beloved familiar, and he’s coping slightly better than the rest of them. The council loves him, even although his hard-working attitude is actually because Claudius feeds him copious amounts of stimulants. Debut: Episode 10.
